Meeting you was like a breath of fresh air! Having an older home (75 yrs. old) you never know what you will find under 20 yr. old wallpaper. But you were so positive and honest with us, I knew we called the right person. You did not disappoint! We now enjoy our newly painted dining room and back room. You fixed our ceilings to look great 10 years from now.

This is an unsolicited COMPLIMENT for an Excellent Perfectionist to and for Helen Grondin!!!
Helen came to us on a referral from a major contractor. We called her to see if she could help us with a renovation project in our new residence in Merrimack,NH. The project involved a new kitchen, bath, and laundry room on the first floor. After having the original kitchen and bath removed from this 45-46 year old home, the walls and ceilings left a lot to be desired.
The Magic!!! Helen performed with her joint compound and drywall on the walls and ceiling in the three areas of concern were MAGNIFICENT!!!
She was a WORKAHOLIC and SPEED DEMON who showed up when said she would. She texted me each morning she was coming to say " I'm on my way "...Very good with her communication to keep us informed of any irregularities that might have occurred which none did. Helen's personality and jovial nature made it a pleasure to see her come around each day she was helping us complete our project.
Helen is a Pet Lover and showed our two West Highland Terriers ( Baxter & Lucy ) the utmost attention to where they would not leave her alone to perform her special talent. We had to at times quarantine them away in a separate area just so she could work.
Helen demonstrated she is not afraid of HARD PHYSICAL WORK, did a great job of making our ceilings and walls like new again. She cleaned up a lot of old dirty drywall and tired ceilings after 45 years of exposure.
My adjectives to describe her are....PERFECTIONIST...HONEST....REASONABLE RATE....HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ANY RENOVATION PROJECT INVOLVING NEW WALLS AND CEILINGS.....JUST VERY VERY GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES....LOVES SMALL RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS LIKE OURS....VERY FAST WITH HER WORK ETHIC...WE LOVED HER FOR THE TIME SHE SPENT ON OUR PROJECT. JUST OVERALL EXCELLANT!!
Helen will Greet and Treat you FAIRLY with Respect. She listens to your concerns with many offers to come back if something isn't right. She will make it right to your satisfaction and is guaranteed.
Very pleased to help compliment Helen and her small company. If you choose to use her services for any renovation project believe me you will not be disappointed...She's THE BEST!!

"Alco Construction did a great job and provided a wonderful service in our ceiling repair. Helen took extra time and care matching up our textured patterns and was immediately responsive to our questions. It is difficult to find drywall contractors willing to quickly schedule small jobs, but we were scheduled within a week. The job was quickly completed and the price was very reasonable.
